(Ages 5-8) Learn to Rally
A great opportunity for beginners to discover the ABC'S of tennis (agility, balance, coordination, swing path) for the forehand, backhand, and serve. Learners will play with lower compression balls, play on a smaller court and participate in skill based cooperative learning games. Beginning players will be successful and develop competency to play modified tennis matches.
Learn to Rally Level 1 offered at Encanto Sports Complex through City of Phoenix
A current recreation pass is required for City of Phoenix Recreation Programs.
(Ages 5-8) Learn to Rally 2
For children who have completed a learn to rally class level 1 class or have prior tennis experience. Students will refine the technical aspects of the ABC’s of tennis for the serve, forehand, and backhand. Students will learn tactics for game situations using cooperative learning games.

Red Ball Learn to Rally Level 2 offered at Encanto Sports Complex through City of Phoenix

Parent and Me Classes (Ages 5-8) (Ages 9-12)
A special time of bonding with your child to learn the game of tennis. This interactive class introduces the fundamentals of tennis using a game-based approach. Class uses low compression balls

Orange Ball Beginner
Students ages 9-10 will be able to master the ABC'S of tennis and discover the swing path for the advanced forehand, backhand, serve, volley, and approach shot. The student will be able to demonstrate their strokes in cooperative rallies. The student will be able to apply their strokes in the five match situations to develop competency to play on a 60 foot tennis court.

Offered at North Phoenix and Encanto Sports Complex
Green Ball/Yellow Ball
Green Ball/Yellow Ball class designed for advanced beginner/ intermediate level players ages 11-15. Students will be able to master advanced strokes by applying the five controls of tennis (spin, height, depth, pace, and direction) in singles and doubles, movement skills, and mental skills. Players learn to develop strengths in their game and how to use them through cooperative live ball games and match play.

PRIVATE GROUPS

Get your own group together of 4-6 friends to have your own private group. In your own private group you will have a customized program built exactly for you and your friends. We offer half-hour and one hour private groups. Price varies based on number of students.
